Maya Seat

Role: UX- and Product Designer

MAYA, a partnership between Panasonic Avionics and Collins Aerospace, is a next-generation onboard suite concept that seamlessly blends the physical and digital world. It premiered at AIX 2024 in Hamburg to significant and ongoing praise.

“This immersive suite blows away previous inflight entertainment experiences”

We created a unified digital experience that showcases all the elements of MAYA, which features a integration of a ultra-wide curved screen, touchpad-like “Active Surface” controls, personal device charging and identification as well as crew-facing screens.

Kwitter App

Role: Product Designer and Developer

An ongoing personal project to design and use AI to prototype a simple app in an effort to test out different AI tools. Lovable, Cursor and Figma Make.

The app itself is a vehicle to go through and learn how Product design evolves through the use of AI tools and diving into the relationship between UX and AX design.

The project goal is to have a baseline in simple functionality to seeing how it can evolve using dynamic interfaces with automation instead of static UI.

Allow the user to shift form direct control to delegation and surface the right information in the right context. All the while being effective and trustworthy.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) latest cabin system for entertainment, service and shopping. Scalable across cabin classes and touchpoints.

For those who want to explore the entertainment options before boarding, they can download the ANA app – and use it on board as a remote control. First-class passengers can also lie down in bed and enjoy the view on a personal, 43-inch monitor.

Travelers can buy products from the shop, adjust the seat, choose the lighting’s strength and color tone and chat with fellow passengers.

About me.

With a background in traditional art and visual design for games and motion graphics from studying digital graphics at School of Future Entertainment as a part of Blekinge Institute of Technology. I later transitioned to PHP and Java coding while still benefiting from my visual background to creating everything from pixels to lines of code. I found the web and app world to be the most engaging and specialized in UX- and Interaction design.

I have many years of experience, working with interactive user experiences ranging from console games to advanced digital systems and platforms for high profile companies.

When I'm AFK I spend time with my kids, renovate the 70's era house, drive motorcycles and collect video games; everything from Commodore 64 and onwards.
